Online and Phone Scams

Security risks are one of the top reasons older adults stay away from technology, but they can be mitigated with the proper knowledge. 

In this class, students will learn about the most common scams that target older adults and how you can avoid being a victim. Students will be taught how to recognize and identify a potential scam, the steps to take to avoid it, and how to report/resolve an issue if you’ve been a victim of an online scam. 

Staying safe online can be easy and effective with the right tools and knowledge!
