ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Emily Large, PT, C-IAYT

Emily Large is a licensed physical therapist and certified yoga therapist with graduate studies in neuroscience and movement science. By integrating western medicine, neuroscience and therapeutic yoga, Large has developed an evidence-based practice methodology that is potent, concise and easy to learn. Twenty-five years of experience in the field provides Large an appreciation for practice-based evidence, as she continues to witness profound healing within herself and her clients. This unique and systematic methodology empowers the practitioner toward optimal health and wellness.

Gus Castellanos, M.D.

Gus Castellanos is certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine. He was Assistant Professor in Neuro-Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center before relocating to practice Neurology & Sleep Medicine in Palm Beach County, FL, in 1987. In 2006, he retired from the practice of Medicine. During his medical career, Dr. Castellanos served as Medical Director of The Sleep Center at Jupiter Medical Center, President of the Florida Society of Neurology, Chief of Neurology at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, and Co-Director of Jupiter Medical Center’s Stroke Center. He founded and served as Medical Director of Carelink Clinic (volunteer clinic bringing medical care and humanitarian services to the underserved, uninsured people living in northern Palm Beach County) and Founder and Medical Liaison of A.W.A.K.E. Sleep Apnea Support Group, Palm Beach County.
