Meet Our Doctor
Arif Dalvi, MD, MBA leads the Comprehensive Movement Disorders Program at the Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute.
Dr. Dalvi is board-certified in neurology and has a fellowship in Parkinson’s disease from Columbia University, New York. He was director of the neurology residency at the University of Chicago. He is medical director for the American Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, South Florida. He is a member of the International Parkinson Study Group and is on the advisory board of the International Essential Tremor Foundation.
Dr. Dalvi has published on Parkinson’s disease (PD) in a number of peer-reviewed journals including Neurology, Journal of Neurosurgery, Annals of Neurology, and Movement Disorders. His publications include textbook chapters on PD, tremor, dystonia, Alzheimer’s disease and normal pressure hydrocephalus. He has over 20 years of research on the medical and surgical treatment of PD.
Dr. Dalvi is recognized for his work on the surgical treatment of PD and tremor. He has conducted national and international training workshops for neurologists and neurosurgeons on DBS programming. He has presented extensively on PD both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Dalvi was identified by Castle Connolly in the Top Doctors in America list. The Palm Beach County Medical Society recognized him as a Hero in Medicine in 2018.
