About the Event

Major Advances in Surgical Options for Parkinson’s Disease

Join us for an informative presentation with Dr. Arif Dalvi, MD, MBA, as he explores the latest advances in surgical treatment options for Parkinson’s disease.

The presentation will highlight two important developments:

  • Focused Ultrasound (PTT): Learn how a new treatment target is expanding the potential of focused ultrasound to address motor fluctuations and dyskinesia, in addition to tremor.

  • Adaptive Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS): Discover how this next-generation technology functions like an on-demand pacemaker for the brain, adjusting stimulation based on the brain’s activity.

Dr. Dalvi will discuss how these evolving technologies are expanding treatment possibilities and what they may mean for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease.
