About the Event
Experiencing frequent falls can by an indicator of an overall decline in the functional status in the elderly. A fall with a traumatic injury can irreversibly impact the quality of life. Guest speaker, Cindy of Trustbridge, will discusses the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that can increase the risk for falls, as well as, the role of the caregiver in fall prevention.
