Carol Chiang is a visionary leader in healthcare innovation and aging-in-place design, blending 25 years of clinical expertise as an occupational therapist with a passion for creating beautiful, functional, and practical spaces that empower people to thrive in their homes. As the founder of Evolving Homes®, Carol has advised homeowners and businesses on luxury aging-in-place solutions, with her expertise sought out by leading organizations such as MIT AgeLab, AARP, Hartford Funds, and the National Kitchen + Bath Association.
Carol is also dedicated to transforming the way older adults experience aging through her role as Director of Innovation at IIX CARE. She works tirelessly to reduce hospital stays, prevent health crises before they occur, and leverage technology to keep people active, engaged, and socially connected in their communities. Carol believes that lasting change requires collaboration with governments and policymakers to build systems and environments that truly support healthy, independent aging. Her work is driven by a vision of a world where aging is not a barrier but an opportunity to thrive.
