Shari Stafford

Movement Instructor

For over forty years, Shari Stafford remains passionate about fitness and dance. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, all while accepting a role as a professional cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1981 (side note: Tom Brady was in diapers then). Her teaching experience is vast, working with young children to seniors.

Her specialties include children’s ballet, tap, jazz and gymnastics as well as instructing adults in aerobics, aquatic fitness and water therapy. In 2008, she started her own fitness program, KIDFIT, with the mission to keep young children active all while having fun. Her greatest pride and joy is founding and coaching a Special Olympics Cheerleading Dance team, competing in events throughout Florida.

Being over 62 years “young” she knows the importance of “keep moving” no matter what your limitations might be. There is always a way, and she will show you. Shari resides in Tequesta along with her husband of over 35 years, Mark Stafford, a recently retired neurologist and currently a Medical Director for the Alzheimer’s Research and Treatment Center in Wellington. She is blessed with two daughters, and her favorite title of all, “Mimi” to two grandsons.
