T3S - Training the Trainer's Symposium is fast approaching....It is hosted at one of our generous sponsors Centennial College Centre for Creative Communications (951 Carlaw Avenue). The Training the Trainers Symposium (T3S), which will take place on March 6th this year.

Register now for one of the following packages. All sessions 1 and 2 are offered both in the morning and in the afternoon. Each session is 2 hours in length. Sign up for one of the three packages.
The session packages offered are:
Package I : 1. Final Cut Pro: This workshop presented by Apple Computers inform teachers about and allows them to explore the "Final Cut Pro" program, which involves digital editing in a wide range of formats.
2. Storyboarding: This workshop will take you step by step through the storyboarding process. The how-to in scripting, illustration and other complex ideas in new media context.
Package II : 1. InDesign: This workshop presented by Heff Jones informs teachers about and allows them to explore the InDesign program, which give a creative, effective environment for making layouts. It is very useful for creating yearbooks to newspapers.
2. Social Media Networking and Open-Source Software: This workshop will explore the new age of wikis, facebook, and other social networking tools. If our students are already in these spaces, the learning environment perhaps could utilize these tools.
Package III : 1. iWorks: MacOSX Panther This workshops will use iLife (08/iWork). This session will explore hands-on use of iMovie, iWeb, and iDVD
2. iWorks Garage Band/iLife: This workshop will use innovative software such as Garage Band, Keynote software an interactive presentation tool, Pages (for design layout) and Word Processing and Numbers (spreadsheets).
